May 2010
Dear Guests,
The trees have green leaves and the flowers are blooming. Spring has finally arrived in Macomb. Our guest love to sit on the porch or balcony and smell the lilacs and flowers.
This year we will celebrate our 7th year in the Bed and Breakfast business. Looking back to 2003, we are glad we opened the Inselhaus. We have received many compliments over the years about our comfortable beds, delicious breakfasts, evening dinners and the service we provide. Thank you to the local community, guests and visitors for helping making the B & B a wonderful success. This calls for a celebration! In May and June 2010, we are offering our 2003 room rates for Sunday through Thursday night reservations. You can do this online or email us. If you book online we will automatically adjust the rate.
The Inselhaus has been very fortunate this year to have many prominent WIU guests stay with us. Please go online at www.wiu.edu and check out the calendar to see all of the wonderful events at the unversity. I especially enjoyed attending the "Major Works Concert" featuring Carl Orff's "Carmina Burana" The conductor was Professor Richard Hughey who stayed at the Inselhaus when he first arrived in Macomb. We may be a small town but we have lots to offer.
Enjoy the warmer weather.
We hope to see you soon at the B & B.
